Choral Arts’ final concert of the season features music Made in America. American choral music reflects the rich diversity of the United States featuring distinct and varied elements, eclectic sources, and a vast range of styles. The centerpiece of this concert will be Leonard Bernstein's
Mass (Concert Version). Other selections will showcase three generations of master and emerging American choral composers.
Made in America brings together Choral Arts, The Washington Chorus, and the Children's Chorus of Washington for the opening night concert of the annual conference of Chorus America and is part of the Kennedy Center’s festival:
