Artistic Director Search
The Choral Arts Society of Washington (Choral Arts), now in its 47th year, is seeking an Artistic Director to succeed celebrated Founding Artistic Director Norman Scribner. Candidates must demonstrate visionary and creative leadership and possess a broad knowledge of choral repertoire.
As head of one of the leading symphonic choruses in the country, the Artistic Director will plan and oversee the annual season of concerts by the Choral Arts chorus at the Kennedy Center, which begins in the fall of 2012.
Simon Halsey, Chorus Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Chief Conductor, Berlin Radio Choir and Theodore Morrison, Composer/Conductor serve as Artistic Advisors to the Search Committee.
