Family Christmas Concert

For the past six years, The Choral Arts Society of Washington has annually presented its sell-out Family Christmas Concert for the DC Metro area.  Each year, guest conductor Joseph Holt and playwright/director Mary Hall Surface bring to life a classic holiday story from around the world through an accessible script and favorite holiday carols.

     This concert:

  • Is one-hour long
  • Features two to five actors
  • Interweaves simple dialogue between choral selections to tell a holiday story
  • Is performed with community and child actors
  • Is a seasonal highlight for children ages five and up
