Humanitarian Award
In 2004, Choral Arts began honoring individuals who embody the spirit of Dr. King’s message of nonviolent struggle for Civil Rights with the Annual Humanitarian Award. Each year the selected individual is honored at the concert celebration.
2012 Humanitarian Award Recipient
The 2012 Humanitarian Award will be presented to Choral Arts' Artistic Director and Founder, Norman Scribner in conjunction with
Living the Dream . . . Singing the Dream on January 22, 2012. Julian Bond, the 2008 Humanitarian Award recipient, will present the award to Maestro Scribner.
