World renowned cellist Mstislav Rostropovich joined forces with The Choral Arts Society of Washington for the world premiere of this stunning piece based on verses from the Song of Solomon. Scored for solo cello and four choruses arranged in the form of a Greek cross, this work was created to be sung in a cathedral and fully explores the special sonorities of Washington National Cathedral.
